Most everyone wants to look and feel younger than his or her actual age. Don’t you? I have never met anybody who wants to have heart disease, memory loss, osteoporosis, or more wrinkles.

If you would like to stay looking and feeling younger, your whole life the best thing to do is to use an antiaging nutrition diet. The best way to stay healthy is to keep your diet rich in antioxidants.

You will find the most antioxidants in fruits and vegetables. Look for fruits and vegetables that are rich in vitamin E, vitamin C, beta-carotene and selenium. Antioxidants help fight free radicals in your body. Free radicals are the oxygen fragments that attack and cause damage to the life-sustaining proteins, cell genetic code, and cell membranes of your body.

Your brain and nervous system are protected by antioxidants, which helps keep your memory sharp. Antioxidants help prevent premature aging and disease. The problem is the human body becomes less effective in processing nutrients as it ages. Because of this, you want to increase your nutrient intake.

Make sure to eat plenty of citrus fruits, strawberries, potatoes, raw cabbage, green peppers, and leafy green vegetables which are rich in vitamin C. vitamin E also helps delay your aging process. Be sure to add whole grains, leafy green vegetables, fish oil, wheat germ, seeds, vegetable oil, and nuts to your diet.

You also want to eat plenty of foods rich in beta-carotene including carrots, cantaloupe, apricots, kale, tomatoes, collards, peaches, and sweet potatoes. Selenium is also an important mineral because it helps fight cell damage and is known to prevent cancer.

Foods that are high in selenium include fish, grains, red meat, eggs, garlic, chicken, and shellfish.

Antiaging nutrients that come from plants are called photochemical and phytonutrients. These nutrients are very beneficial to your skin.

Since our body absorbs and processes nutrients less efficiently as we age, women should increase their calcium in order to prevent osteoporosis. Men should increase their vitamin C and vitamin E intake to help prevent prostate cancer.

In my opinion, we are unable to get the minimum daily requirements of these antioxidants from our food, so I strongly advise my loved ones to take high quality organic nutritional supplement to make sure that we will age healthy and gracefully.
